Our Mission
Our mission is to build a community of young explorers who learn through discovery, collaboration, and cultural understanding. We empower children to approach the world with curiosity, kindness, and confidence.
Nuria Gutierrez Vives
Nuria has loved working with children for as long as she can remember. As a teenager in Catalonia, she volunteered with special‑needs students and discovered the calling that would shape her entire life. She went on to study Elementary Education at the International University of Catalonia and has been teaching ever since.
A Teacher With Heart and Experience
Nuria brings more than 10 years of teaching experience across preschool and elementary grades. She has taught in Spain, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and now Missouri—always with the same goal: helping every child feel confident, supported, and excited to learn.
Since 2022, she has been part of the Rockwood School District, first at the Rockwood Early Childhood Center and now at Wild Horse Elementary School, where she is known as a warm, creative, and deeply loved teacher.
Her Approach
Nuria believes children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and engaged. Her classes are filled with movement, stories, games, and hands‑on activities that make Spanish come alive. She adapts her teaching to each child’s learning style and builds a classroom culture rooted in kindness, respect, and curiosity.
